Pistol Craft 202: Practical Handgun

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Pistol Craft 201: Handgun Fundamentals

This course accelerates the student toward real-world defensive application, introducing holster work, reloads, common malfunctions, shooting from positions of cover/concealment, and vehicle-based considerations.

Student Outcomes:

• Safely draw from a holster

• Perform empty-gun and tactical reloads

• Maintain accuracy with movement

• Understand considerations regarding shooting from positions of cover/ concealment

• Demonstrate clearing handgun malfunctions

• Apply skills in vehicle-based scenarios

Equipment Needs:

• Open mind, teachable spirit, positive attitude, and a mindset of safety

• Handgun (semi-automatic)

• 250 rounds of factory ammunition

• Holster covering trigger guard and with retention

• Sturdy belt to support holster use

• Long pants and closed-toed shoes

• NW Precision Training provides hearing and eye protection

• Personal hearing protection must be amplified
